extensive training programme devised by TOYOTA Motor Corporation in Japan for TOYOTA
Distributors all over the world.

Press Release Body = Bahrain - Manama: As a part of their ongoing employee
development plan, E K Kanoo recently invested BD80,000 in providing TEAM 21
(Technical Education for Automotive Mastery) & Forklift training for 40 employees.
The Service Advisors and Technicians of the TOYOTA Service Centres in Isa Town and
Arad underwent an extensive training programme devised by TOYOTA Motor Corporation
in Japan for TOYOTA Distributors all over the world.

The training was held for the 40 employees in the last quarter of 2006. The original
certificates, which arrived in April 2007 from Japan, were presented to the 40
employees at the Certificate Presentation Ceremony held in TOYOTA Service Centre in
Isa Town on 5th April by Mr. Bashar Darkazalli - CEO of E K Kanoo group of
companies.

The duration of the extensive training programme varied from 2-6months depending on
the certification level received by each employee. Specialist Trainers from E K
Kanoo who received their professional training and certification from TOYOTA Motor
Corporation trained the 40 employees.

On this occasion Mr. Bashar Darkazalli said, "E K Kanoo has been operating in the
Kingdom of Bahrain for over 50 years and are the well-known sole distributors of

Ms. Zahra Y Rahma, Manager - Learning & Performance Management for E K Kanoo who is
responsible for the training and development of E K Kanoo employees was also present
at the certificate presentation ceremony. Zahra quoted, "Training provides
motivation to employees. This specialised training facilitates our employees not
only to improve their skills and performance but also to match the global standards
set by TOYOTA Motor Corporation."
